Section 84
(1)

Notwithstanding the provisions of the Subordinate Courts

Act 1948 [Act 92], all penalties for offences against this Act may be had and recovered in the Sessions Court or the Court of a First Class Magistrate on complaint by any person aggrieved or by the Director General or any person authorized by him in writing in that behalf.

(2)

Notwithstanding the provisions of any written law to the contrary, the court of a First Class Magistrate shall have jurisdiction to try any offence under this Act and to award the full punishment for any such offence.
