Enquiry into accidents

of Explosives Act 1957

Section 24
(1)

Any Magistrate who is of opinion that an enquiry is necessary into the cause of any accident of the description mentioned in section 23 may make such enquiry.

(2)

Any Magistrate making an enquiry under this section shall, for the purposes of conducting the enquiry, have all the powers which he would have in holding an enquiry into an offence within his jurisdiction.
