Section 37
Power to make regulations
(2)
Without prejudice to subsection (1), regulations under that subsection may be made for—
(a)
prescribing the manner in which documents, cheques and instruments of any description shall be signed or executed on behalf of the Authority;
(b)
prescribing for the responsibilities and control of officers and servants of the Authority;
(c)
imposing fees in such cases as may be determined by the
Authority;
(d)
providing for such matters in connection with shares, stock, bonds, debentures or debenture stock issued under this Act as may appear necessary or expedient to the
Authority, and, in particular, for regulating the method of issue, transfer, redemption or other dealing with such shares, stock, bonds, debentures or debenture stock;
(e)
prescribing the manner in which and the terms and conditions on which loans may be granted by the Authority under section 29; and
(f)
providing generally for the exercise of its powers and duties under the provisions of this Act.
(3)
Such regulations—
(a)
may prescribe that any act or omission in contravention of the provisions of any regulation shall be an offence;
and
(b)
may provide for the imposition of penalties for such offences, which penalties shall not exceed one thousand ringgit.
