The First Schedule to the Holidays Ordinance is hereby deleted and the following substituted thereof:-

“FIRST SCHEDULE

Every Sunday

The first day of January

Chinese New Year and the following day

Birthday of Prophet Mohamed

Good Friday 1st day of May (Labour Day)

The day preceding and the day succeeding the second Sunday in

May (Harvest Festival)

The Birthday of His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong

Hari Raya Puasa and the following day

National Day (31st August)

The Birthday of His Excellency the Yang di-Pertua Negeri

Hari Raya Haji

Awal Muharram

Hari Keputeraan Nabi Mohammed S.A.W.

Christmas Day”
