Section 23
(1)
Except as provided in subsection (2), where any books, accounts, documents, things or goods are seized under section 15
or 16, the authorized officer making the seizure shall prepare a list of the things seized and immediately deliver a copy of the list signed by him to the licensee or the occupier of the premises which have been searched, or to the agent or servant of the licensee or occupier, at those premises.

(2)
Where the premises are unoccupied, the authorized officer making the seizure shall post a list of the things seized conspicuously on the premises.
