Section 16
(1)
Subject to subsection (2) the master of every vessel which arrives in Malaysia shall hoist the prescribed immigration signal and shall exhibit the signal until authorized by an immigration officer to haul it down.
(2)
Subsection (1) shall not apply to any vessel which plies solely between ports in Malaysia.
(3)
The master of any vessel who contravenes or fails to comply with subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence against this Act.
