Captive breeding or artificial propagation
of International Trade in Endangered Species Act 2008
Any person who is registered with a Management Authority to produce captive bred animal or artificially propagated plant or animal of any scheduled species shall keep and maintain records of their stocks and transactions.
(2)
A Management Authority may inspect, at any time, the premises and records of any person registered with the Management Authority.
(3)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable—

(a)
where such person is an individual, to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years or to both;
(b)
where such person is a body corporate, to a fine not exceeding two hundred thousand ringgit.
