Functions of the Lead Management Authority

Section 5
The functions of the Lead Management Authority shall be —
(a)
to coordinate the implementation and enforcement of the provisions of this Act by the Management Authorities and
Scientific Authorities;
(b)
to communicate with all other countries and the secretariat of the Convention on all matters under this Act;
(c)
to cause national obligations under the Convention to be fulfilled;
(d)
to create awareness and to provide training, education and information relating to the Convention;
(e)
to do such other things as it deems fit to enable it to perform its functions effectively or which are incidental to the performance of its functions.
