Section 6
(1)
A reference to a public officer by the usual or common title of his office (and in particular without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by its title in estimates of expenditure laid before the
House of Representatives or a Legislative Assembly) shall be sufficient to identify him.
(2)
This section shall apply to a reference to a public officer in a warrant, process or other instrument issued in pursuance of a written law as it applies to a reference to a public officer in a written law.
