Acknowledging another as mother or father
Where a person acknowledges another as his father or mother, the acknowledgment, if assented to or confirmed by the acknowledgee, whether during the lifetime or after the decease of the acknowledgor, shall constitute a valid relationship, in so far as the parties themselves are concerned, provided that the ages of the

acknowledgor and the acknowledgee are such that filial relationship is possible between them.
