Section 30
—
(1)
Every surveying assistant who is employed by a land surveyor shall be registered in a Subsidiary Register in accordance with rules made under section 31.
(2)
The Registrar shall remove from the Subsidiary Register the names and other particulars of any surveying assistant who ceases to be employed by a land surveyor.
(3)
Any person who is registered as a surveying assistant shall not undertake any cadastral land survey except under the direct supervision, control or direction of a land surveyor.
(4)
A surveying assistant shall not sign or approve any survey plan required to be submitted to any government authority under the
Code or any other written law.
