Existing licensed surveyors
Notwithstanding sections 9 and 10, the name of every person who immediately before the coming into force of this Act was resident and practising in the States of Malaya and was licensed to practise under the Surveyors Ordinance of the Straits
Settlements [S.S. Cap. 63] shall be placed upon the Register without payment of the prescribed registration fee and the Board shall issue to every such person a licence to practise without payment of the prescribed licence fee in respect of the year 1958.
