Section 172
(1)
Where a court finds a person guilty of an offence under subsection 171(2) and the court is satisfied that the affected person or another person has suffered loss or damage thereby, the court may order the person guilty of the offence to pay compensation to the person who has suffered such loss or damage.
(2)
Notwithstanding subsection (1) the conservator may commence civil proceedings against any person to recover the asset of the affected person or compensation in lieu thereof.
