Section 73
Calculation of annual levy in respect of insurer members
of Malaysia Deposit Insurance Corporation Act 2011
Subject to section 73A, the annual levies shall be calculated as follows:

(a)
the applicable levy rates for each insurer member shall be based on such criteria as may be prescribed in the regulations;
(b)
the annual levy to be paid by an insurer member shall be calculated on the basis as may be prescribed by the
Minister;
(c)

(f)
the annual levies in respect of the business of family takaful, general takaful, life insurance and general insurance shall be calculated separately.

(3)
The levies payable by an insurer member shall be based on returns to be certified by the chief executive of the insurer member and submitted in such form and within such period as the Corporation may require.
