of MALAYSIA DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION (AMENDMENT) ACT 2016
Section 58
Section 120 of the principal Act is amended—
(a)
in subsection (1), by deleting the words “or registration, as applicable,”;
(b)
in paragraph (1)(a), by deleting the words “or a licensed finance company as defined under section 2 of the
Banking and Financial Institutions Act 1989”;
(c)
in paragraph (1)(b), by deleting the words “as defined under section 2 of the Islamic Banking Act 1983”; and
(d)
in subsection (2), by deleting the words “or registration”.
