Section 16
(1)
The Council shall have disciplinary powers over its members and may exercise disciplinary powers against its members who have contravened any provisions of this Act or alleged to have committed a misconduct as stipulated in the code of conduct, guideline, instruction or circular issued by the Council or the
Board, as the case may be.
(2)
The Council shall, establish any disciplinary offences, impose any disciplinary penalties and determine the procedures for disciplinary proceedings, by a resolution of a simple majority of votes of the members present and voting at the general meeting.
