(a)
to carry out rubber research and development activities;
and
(b)
to provide and conduct training in line with the needs of the rubber industry.
(2)
The research centre shall have power—
(a)
to undertake rubber research and development activities;
(b)
to commission any person or body to carry out rubber research and development activities; and
(c)
to impose fees or any other charges it thinks fit for the use of any facility relating to research, investigation, testing, technical advice, training or any other service provided by the research centre.
