Power to demolish buildings or structures

Section 164

—

(1)

If it appears to any authorized officer that there is reasonable cause to believe that any building or structure has been erected without authorization under this Ordinance for the purposes of prospecting or mining for minerals, such officer may destroy, demolish or remove any such building or structure or take possession of it in the name of the Government.

(2)

This section shall not apply to an area within the local authority area.
