Section 80
(1)
No person shall be entitled to recover possession of any timber collected under section 76 until all expenses incurred in collecting, moving, storing and disposing of the timber, as assessed by the Director, have been paid to the State Authority.
(2)
Where a person fails to pay the expenses payable under subsection (1) within thirty days of the service of the assessment on him, the Director may direct that the timber be sold and the proceeds of the sale shall be used for the payment of such expenses, and any sum remaining (if any) shall, unless claimed by the person aforesaid within fourteen days of the sale, be credited to the State
Consolidated Fund.
