Section 33
(1)
Whenever the Director is not satisfied of the nature, extent or proprietorship of any pre-existing interest in any holding, or in respect of any other matter arising out of or connected with such holding he shall unless he considers that such matter is of a trivial nature or occasioned by a minor error, defect or irregularity, thereupon endorse the appropriate folio of the Interim Register with the words “Title not clear”, and shall sign and date such endorsement and seal it with his seal.
(2)
Every endorsement made on any folio of the Interim Register under subsection (1) shall have the same force and effect, and may be withdrawn or released, as if it were a caveat presented by the Director in respect of such holding under the National Land Code.
