Section 5
(1)
The Minister may, from time to time, by notice in the
Gazette, require persons or categories of persons liable to register by virtue of a proclamation made under section 4 to present themselves for registration at such place or places, at such time or times and to such authority as may be specified in the notice.
(2)
Any person affected by a notice given under subsection (1)
who, without lawful excuse, fails to present himself for registration in accordance with such notice shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to both.
