Section 37
(1)
A person who commits an offence under this Act for which no specific penalty is provided shall be liable on conviction—
(a)
in respect of a first offence, to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit;
(b)
in respect of a second or subsequent offence, to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.

(2)
In the case of a continuing offence, a person convicted under this Act shall be liable to a further fine of fifty ringgit for each day the offence continues after conviction in addition to the penalties provided for under paragraphs (1)(a) and (b).
