WHEREAS by reason of a grave emergency threatening the security, economic life and public order of a part of the Federation namely the Parliamentary Constituency of P.185 Batu Sapi, Sabah arising from the epidemic of an infectious disease, namely Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), a Proclamation of Emergency [P.U. (A) 329/2020] has been issued by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong under Clause (1) of Article 150 of the Federal Constitution on the eighteenth day of November, two thousand twenty: AND WHEREAS the Yang di-Pertuan Agong is satisfied that the need for the Emergency (Essential Powers) Ordinance 2020 [P.U.

330/2020]

promulgated under the Proclamation of Emergency has ended and an action to revoke the Emergency Ordinance is required:

IT IS HEREBY PROMULGATED AN ORDINANCE by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong pursuant to Clause (2B) of Article 150 of the Federal Constitution as follows:

Short title 1.

This ordinance may be cited as the Emergency (Essential Powers)

(Revocation) Ordinance 2022.

Revocation 2.

The Emergency (Essential Powers) Ordinance 2020 [P.U. (A) 330/2020]

is revoked.
