Section 82
(1)
Subject to subsection 17B(4A), subsection 26B(1B), subsection 27(1A), subsection 28(6), subsection 29A(8) and subsection 30(4), where, by this Act or any regulations made thereunder a time is specified within which an act or thing is to be done, the Registrar may, unless otherwise expressly directed by any court, extend the time either before or after its expiration, upon payment of the prescribed fee.
(2)
The request for extension of time after the expiration of a prescribed period under this Act or any regulations made under this
Act shall be made within the period as prescribed.
