Jadual Pertama Peraturan-Peraturan Hak Cipta (Pemberitahuan Sukarela) 2012

[P.U. (A) 160/2012] dikurangkan sebanyak lima puluh peratus pada mana-mana tarikh sebagaimana yang disiarkan dalam Jurnal Rasmi Harta Intelek atau dalam laman sesawang Perbadanan.

(2)

Pengurangan fi di bawah subperaturan (1) hendaklah terpakai jika—

(a)

pemberitahuan dibuat melalui Borang CR-1 dan dikemukakan mengikut apa-apa cara sebagaimana yang diarahkan oleh Pengawal

Hak Cipta;

(b)

pemberitahuan yang dibuat melalui Borang CR-1 adalah bagi tujuan melindungi karya sastera, karya muzik, filem, rakaman bunyi, atau karya terbitan; dan

(c)

pemberitahuan yang dibuat melalui Borang CR-1 oleh pemunya hak cipta karya, pemegang serah hak hak cipta, atau mana-mana orang

yang membuat pemberitahuan itu bagi pihak pemunya hak cipta karya atau pemegang serah hak hak cipta tidak melebihi dua ratus pemberitahuan atau apa-apa jumlah pemberitahuan yang disiarkan dalam Jurnal Rasmi Harta Intelek atau dalam laman sesawang

Perbadanan.

COPYRIGHT ACT 1987

COPYRIGHT (REDUCTION OF FEE) REGULATIONS 2025

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 26A(2) and section 59

of the Copyright Act 1987 [Act 332], the Minister makes the following regulations:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These regulations may be cited as the Copyright (Reduction of Fee)

Regulations 2025.

(2)

These Regulations come into operation on 24 April 2025.

Reduction of fee 2.

(1)

The fee imposed to the owner of the copyright in the work, an assignee of the copyright, or a person who makes such notification on behalf of the owner of the copyright in the work or an assignee of the copyright under item 1(a) to the First Schedule of the Copyright (Voluntary Notification) Regulations 2012

[P.U. (A) 160/2012] is reduced by fifty percent on any date as published in the Intellectual Property Official Journal or on the website of the Corporation.

(2)

The reduction of fee under subregulation (1) shall apply if—

(a)

the notification is made in Form CR-1 and submitted in the manner as may be directed by the Controller of Copyright;

(b)

the notification made in Form CR-1 is for the purpose of protecting literary works, musical works, films, sound recordings, or derivative works; and

(c)

the notification made in Form CR-1 by the owner of copyright in the work, an assignee of the copyright, or any person who makes such notification on behalf of the owner of the copyright in the work or an assignee of the copyright has not exceeded two hundred

notifications or any amount of notification published in the Intellectual Property Official Journal or on the website of the Corporation.
