Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 59 Akta Senjata 1960 [Akta 206], Menteri membuat peraturan-peraturan yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Peraturan-Peraturan Pelesenan Senjata 1961 [P.U. (A) 303/1978], yang disebut
“Peraturan-Peraturan ibu”
dalam
Peraturan-Peraturan ini, dipinda dalam subperaturan 3(2) dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan “3,” perkataan “3A, 3B,
3C, 3D,”.
Peraturan baharu 6A, 6B, 6C dan 6D
Seksyen 3
Peraturan-Peraturan ibu dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas peraturan 6
peraturan yang berikut:
“Application for arms card.
Seksyen 6A
(1)
Any person making an application for an arms licence or arms permit or a holder of an arms licence or arms permit applying for a renewal under regulation 5
shall apply for an arms card to the licensing officer.
(2)
The application for an arms card referred to in subregulation (1) shall be made in Form 3A of the
Schedule and subject to such fees as specified in the
Second Schedule of the Act.

Condition of arms licence or arms permit.
Change or correction of particulars of arms card.
(3)
An arms card issued under this regulation shall contain all the particulars as specified in Form 3B of the
Schedule and other particulars as may be necessary.
Seksyen 6B
(1)
Pursuant to paragraph 8(b) of the Act, it shall be a condition that a holder of an arms licence or arms permit shall, at all times carry an arms card and subject to the provisions of these Regulations, be responsible for the custody of the arms card.
(2)
Any person who fails to comply with the condition under this regulation commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to both.
Seksyen 6C
(1)
If there is any change of particulars of an arms card, a holder of an arms licence or arms permit shall make an application to the licensing officer for the change of particulars.
(2)
If there is any correction of particulars of an arms card, a holder of an arms licence or arms permit may make an application to the licensing officer for the correction of particulars.
(3)
The application for the change or correction of particulars of an arms card shall be made in Form 3C of the Schedule and subject to such fees as specified in the
Second Schedule of the Act.

(4)
The licensing officer, upon receipt of an application under this regulation shall, update or make amendment to the particulars of the arms card and issue a new arms card.
Replacement of arms card.
Seksyen 6D
(1)
If an arms card issued under regulation 6A is destroyed, defaced, mutilated or lost, the holder of an arms licence or arms permit may, on application to the licensing officer, obtain a replacement for the arms card.
(2)
The application for the replacement of the arms card shall be made in Form 3D of the Schedule and subject to such fees as specified in the Second Schedule of the Act.”.

Seksyen 4
Peraturan-Peraturan ibu dipinda dengan menggantikan peraturan 12 dengan peraturan yang berikut:
“Surrender of arms licence, arms permit and arms card.
Seksyen 12
(1)
A holder of an arms licence or arms permit shall surrender his arms licence or arms permit which cease to have effect to the licensing officer.
(2)
For the purpose of subregulation (1), an arms card issued under regulation 6A in respect of the arms licence or arms permit shall be surrendered to the licensing officer.”.

Peraturan-Peraturan ini, syarat itu tidak terpakai bagi orang yang suatu lesen senjata atau permit senjata telah dikeluarkan sebelum permulaan kuat kuasa
Peraturan-Peraturan ini.
(2)
Apa-apa permohonan bagi suatu lesen senjata atau permit senjata yang belum selesai pada tarikh permulaan kuat kuasa Peraturan-Peraturan ini hendaklah diuruskan di bawah Peraturan-Peraturan ibu sebagaimana yang dipinda oleh
Peraturan-Peraturan ini.

ARMS LICENSING (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2016
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 59 of the Arms Act 1960 [Act 206], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1.
(2)
These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2017.
Amendment of regulation 3 2.
The Arms Licensing Regulations 1961 [P.U. (A) 303/1978], which are referred to as “the principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended in subregulation 3(2)
by inserting after the words “3,” the words “3A, 3B, 3C, 3D,”.
New regulations 6A, 6B, 6C and 6D
Seksyen 3
The principal Regulations are amended by inserting after regulation 6 the following regulations:
“Application for arms card.
Seksyen 6A
(1)
Any person making an application for an arms licence or arms permit or a holder of an arms licence or arms permit applying for a renewal under regulation 5
shall apply for an arms card to the licensing officer.
(2)
The application for an arms card referred to in subregulation (1) shall be made in Form 3A of the
Schedule and subject to such fees as specified in the

Substitution of regulation 12

The principal Regulations are amended by substituting for regulation 12 the following regulation:

(1)
A holder of an arms licence or arms permit shall surrender his arms licence or arms permit which cease to have effect to the licensing officer.
(2)
For the purpose of subregulation (1), an arms card issued under regulation 6A in respect of the arms licence or arms permit shall be surrendered to the licensing officer.”.
Amendment of Schedule 5.
The Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by inserting after Form 3
the following forms:

Savings
Seksyen 6
(1)
In respect of any condition imposed under these Regulations, the condition shall not apply to a person to whom an arms licence or arms permit has been issued before the commencement of these Regulations.
(2)
Any application for an arms licence or arms permit pending on the date of the coming into operation of these Regulations shall be dealt with under the principal Regulations as amended by these Regulations.
