PERATURAN-PERATURAN PERUBATAN (MENETAPKAN PEPERIKSAAN BAGI PENDAFTARAN SEMENTARA) 2015

(Menetapkan Peperiksaan Bagi Pendaftaran Sementara) 2015.

Peraturan-Peraturan ini hendaklah terpakai bagi mana-mana orang yang memegang kelulusan yang disebut dalam subperenggan 12(1)(a)(ii) Akta.

“badan pemeriksa” ertinya suatu badan yang diluluskan oleh Menteri di bawah perenggan 12(1)(aa) Akta;

“peperiksaan” ertinya mana-mana peperiksaan yang ditetapkan oleh suatu badan pemeriksa.

Jika seseorang calon gagal dalam peperiksaannya, calon tersebut hendaklah dibenarkan menduduki semula peperiksaan tidak lebih daripada tiga kali.

Setiap calon hendaklah tertakluk kepada apa-apa peraturan badan pemeriksa yang berhubungan dengan peperiksaan dan pengenaan apa-apa fi.

Jika seseorang calon menarik diri daripada menduduki peperiksaan atau tidak hadir peperiksaan, fi yang telah dibayar di bawah subperaturan 4(1) tidak boleh dibayar balik.

Majlis boleh mengendors keputusan peperiksaan dan hendaklah menyampaikan keputusan peperiksaan itu kepada setiap calon setakat yang berkaitan dengannya.

MEDICAL (SETTING OF EXAMINATION FOR PROVISIONAL REGISTRATION)

REGULATIONS 2015

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 12(1)(aa) and section 36 of the

Medical Act 1971 [Act 50], the Malaysian Medical Council, with the approval of the

Minister, makes the following regulations:

Citation 1.

These regulations may be cited as the Medical (Setting of Examination for

Provisional Registration) Regulations 2015.

Application 2.

These Regulations shall apply to any person who holds a qualification referred to in subparagraph 12(1)(a)(ii) of the Act.

Interpretation 3.

In these Regulations—

“examining body” means a body approved by the

Minister under paragraph 12(1)(aa) of the Act;

“examination” means any examination set by an examining body.

Application to sit for examination 4.

(1)

An application to sit for an examination shall be submitted to the Council in two copies of Form as set out in the Schedule together with a fee of one thousand ringgit.

(2)

The Council shall decide the eligibility of any candidate applying to sit for the examination.

If the Council decides that the candidate is eligible to sit for the examination, the Council shall refer the candidate to an examining body.

Failure in examination 5.

If a candidate fails in an examination, the candidate shall be allowed to resit the examination not more than three times.

Candidate subject to the regulations of examining body 6.

Each candidate shall be subject to any regulations relating to the examination of an examining body and the imposition of any fee.

Withdrawal from examination 7.

If a candidate withdraws from sitting for the examination or is absent from the examination, the fee paid under subregulation 4(1) shall not be refunded.

Communication of result 8.

The Council may endorse the examination result and shall communicate to each candidate the result of the examination as far as it relates to him.
