Racun 1952

“Peraturan-Peraturan ibu”
dalam
Peraturan-Peraturan ini, dipinda dengan menggantikan peraturan 26 dengan peraturan yang berikut:
“Poisons
Wholesale
Sales
Book,
Poisons
Book and
Prescription
Book.
A seller by wholesale of any poison shall keep a register containing information and particulars as required under subsection 15(3) of the Act in accordance with
Form A in the First Schedule to these Regulations and such register shall be known as the Poisons Wholesale Sales Book.
A seller or supplier by retail of any poison shall keep a Poisons Book containing information and particulars as required under subsection 23(2) in accordance with
Form B in the First Schedule to these Regulations.
A seller or supplier of a poison referred to in subsection 24(1) of the Act shall keep a Prescription Book containing information and particulars required under that subsection in accordance with Form C in the First Schedule to these Regulations.”.

Peraturan baharu 26A
Peraturan-Peraturan ibu dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas peraturan 26
peraturan yang berikut:
“Records on engagement or employment and daily attendance of registered pharmacist.
the engagement or employment of every registered pharmacist as required under subsection 16(4A) of the Act in Form D of the First Schedule; and
daily attendance of every registered pharmacist in Form E of the First Schedule.
The information referred to in paragraph (1)(a)
shall be—
immediately before a registered pharmacist commences his duty;
and
not later than a day after the registered pharmacist ceases to be engaged or employed; and
kept and maintained in chronological order according to the date on which a registered pharmacist is engaged or employed.

Any licensed pharmacist who contravenes this regulation commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit.”.
Peraturan baharu 27A
Peraturan-Peraturan ibu dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas peraturan 27
peraturan yang berikut:
“Preservation of document.
A seller or supplier who receives a written order or a prescription, either in writing or electronic form, in the course of selling or supplying a poison shall keep the written order or prescription on his premises for a period of five years from the date of sale or supply of poison.
Any person who contravenes this regulation commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.”.

POISONS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2025
Opening note
A seller by wholesale of any poison shall keep a register containing information and particulars as required under subsection 15(3) of the Act in accordance with
Form A in the First Schedule to these Regulations and such register shall be known as the Poisons Wholesale Sales Book.
A seller or supplier by retail of any poison shall keep a Poisons Book containing information and particulars as required under subsection 23(2) in accordance with
Form B in the First Schedule to these Regulations.
A seller or supplier of a poison referred to in subsection 24(1) of the Act shall keep a Prescription Book containing information and particulars required under that subsection in accordance with Form C in the First Schedule to these Regulations.”.

New regulation 26A
The principal Regulations are amended by inserting after regulation 26 the following regulation:
“Records on engagement or employment and daily attendance of registered pharmacist.
the engagement or employment of every registered pharmacist as required under subsection 16(4A) of the Act in Form D of the First Schedule; and
daily attendance of every registered pharmacist in Form E of the First
Schedule.
The information referred to in paragraph (1)(a)
shall be—

New regulation 27A
The principal Regulations are amended by inserting after regulation 27 the following regulation:
“Preservation of document.
A seller, supplier or licensed pharmacist shall keep every register, record or book required to be kept under the Act or these regulations on the premises of the seller, supplier or licensed pharmacist for a period of five years from the date the last entry is made to the register, record or book.
A seller or supplier who receives a written order or a prescription, either in writing or electronic form, in the course of selling or supplying a poison shall keep the written order or prescription on his premises for a period of five years from the date of sale or supply of poison.
Any person who contravenes this regulation commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or to both.”.
Amendment of Schedule 5.
The principal Regulations are amended in the First Schedule by inserting after
Form B the following forms:
