Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 96 of the Central Bank of Malaysia Act 2009 [Act 701], the Minister, on the recommendation of the Bank, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Central Bank of Malaysia (Exemption)
Order 2025.
(2)
This Order has effect for the period from 1 January 2025
to 31 December 2027.
Exemption 2.
The Minister exempts Siti Hurrairah binti Sulaiman from the application of paragraph 17(1)(c) of the Act for the purpose of holding the office of director of the Board of the Bank appointed under subsection 16(1) of the Act for the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2027.
