EXCISE (EXEMPTION FROM LICENSING) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 20(2) of the Excise Act 1976 [Act 176], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
This order may be cited as the Excise (Exemption from Licensing)
(Amendment) Order 2025.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 1 November 2025.
Amendment of paragraph 2 2.
The Excise (Exemption from Licensing) Order 2019 [P.U. (A) 155/2019], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in paragraph 2—
(a)
in the definition of
“heading 20.09”, by substituting for the words “Customs Duties Order 2022 [P.U. (A) 114/2022]”
the words “Customs Duties Order 2025 [P.U. (A) 384/2025]”;
(b)
in the definition of
“heading 22.02”, by substituting for the words
“Customs
Duties
Order 2022”
the words
“Customs Duties Order 2025”; and
(c)
in the definition of
“Chapter 4”, by substituting for the words
