IMMIGRATION (EXEMPTION) ORDER 2025
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 55 of the Immigration Act 1959/63 [Act 155], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This Order comes into operation on 22 September 2025.
Exemption 2.
The Minister exempts the application of regulation 36 of the Immigration
Regulations, 1963 [L.N. 228/63] to any person entering Malaysia by land via
Jalan Sadao-Padang Bezar, Thailand and Jalan FT251, Mukim Titi Tinggi, State of Perlis,
Malaysia.
