  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Kedah, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 18) Order 2022.

This Order comes into operation on 31 December 2022.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of “Negeri Kedah Darul Aman”—

(a)

by substituting for item 63 the following item:

“63.

(Route 272): Sultan Abdul Halim 2 Road

Starting from the junction of State road at coordinates

N 6.288855, E 99.728758 and ending at junction Route 133,

Sultan Abdul Halim Road at coordinates N 6.289545, E 99.731187

within the boundaries of right of way as shown on

MAP: SULTAN ABDUL HALIM 2 ROAD, PULAU LANGKAWI, KEDAH

(a distance of 0.288km).”; and
