Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Kelantan, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 4) Order 2022.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 15 March 2022.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of “Negeri Kelantan Darul Naim”—

(a)

by substituting for item 8 the following item:

“8.

(Route 66): Kg. Sungai Sam–Jeli Road

Starting from the junction of

Route 8,

Kota Bharu–Gua Musang Road at coordinates N 5.250209,

E 102.255135 and ending at the junction of Route 4,

Pasir Puteh–Gerik Road at coordinates N 5.703223,

E 101.831855 within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP 4: KG. SUNGAI SAM-JELI ROAD

(a distance of 95.460 km).”;

by deleting item 26; and

(c)

by substituting for MAP 4: KELANTAN STATE FEDERAL ROAD the following map:
