FEDERAL ROADS (SARAWAK) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2022
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Sarawak, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (Sarawak)
(Amendment) Order 2022.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 10 January 2022.
Amendment of First Schedule 2.
The Federal Roads (Sarawak) Order 1996 [P.U. (A) 551/1996] which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in the First Schedule under the heading “PAN BORNEO HIGHWAY” by inserting after item (jb) the following items:

(Route 1): Serian Roundabout–Sungai Kerang Bridge
Starting at coordinates N 1.183414, E 110.564475 and ending at coordinates N 1.048421, E 110.762922 within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP OF SERIAN ROUNDABOUT–SUNGAI KERANG
BRIDGE (a distance of 33.000 km).

Amendment of Third Schedule 3.
The principal Order is amended in the Third Schedule by inserting after
