  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 89 of the National Kenaf and Tobacco Board Act 2009 [Act 692], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the National Kenaf and Tobacco Board

(Exemption of Licensing Fees) Order 2022.

This Order comes into operation on 1 January 2023.

Exemption of licensing fees 2.

The Minister exempts any application for licence for the activity under paragraph 3(1)(e) National Kenaf and Tobacco Board (Licensing of Tobacco and

Tobacco Products) Regulations 2011 [P.U. (A) 199/2011] from any payment of fees as prescribed under subparagraph 1(e) of the First Schedule to the P.U. (A) 199/2011

for the period from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023.
