PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 29A(3) Akta Pendidikan 1996 [Akta 550], Menteri membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Menteri mengecualikan murid yang dinamakan dalam ruang (1) dengan nombor perakuan kelahiran dan nombor MyKid yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (2) dan (3) Jadual daripada pendidikan wajib bagi tempoh sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (4)

tertakluk pada syarat sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (5).

Syarat akademik yang berkenaan oleh ibu bapa atau ibu bapa yang mengajar murid itu.

(iii)

suatu laporan yang mengandungi penilaian murid hendaklah dikemukakan oleh ibu bapa kepada Jabatan

Pendidikan Negeri yang berkenaan setiap enam bulan dalam suatu kalendar akademik;

(iv)

Pegawai Perkhidmatan

Pendidikan boleh menjalankan lawatan ke rumah dari semasa ke semasa; dan

(v)

Jika murid itu berdaftar dengan mana-mana sekolah rendah dan menghadiri sekolah rendah itu,

Menteri boleh membatalkan pengecualian yang diberikan kepada murid itu.

EDUCATION ACT 1996

EDUCATION (EXEMPTION FROM MANDATORY EDUCATION) ORDER 2022

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 29A(3) of the Education Act 1996

[Act 550], the Minister makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Education (Exemption from Mandatory

Education) Order 2022.

(2)

This Order is deemed to have come into operation on 24 April 2019.

Exemption 2.

The Minister exempts the pupils named in column (1) with the birth certificate numbers and MyKid numbers as specified in columns (2) and (3) of the Schedule from mandatory education for a period as specified in column (4) subject to the conditions as specified in column (5).

From the fourth year of primary education in year 2020

until the completion of primary education in accordance with the relevant academic calendar continuously in accordance with KSSR by either the teaching staff appointed by the parent or the parent who teaches the pupil;

(iii)

a report comprising the pupil’s assessment shall be submitted by the parent to the relevant

If the pupil is enrolled in any primary school and attending the school, the Minister may revoke the exemption granted to the pupil.
