(AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) ORDER 2025
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Trade Descriptions Act 2011 [Act 730], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
This order may be cited as the Trade Descriptions (Certification and
Marking of Halal) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2025.
(2)
This Order comes into operation on 29 August 2025.
Amendment of Second Schedule 2.
The Trade Descriptions (Certification and Marking of Halal) Order 2011
[P.U. (A) 431/2011] is amended in the Second Schedule—
(a)
in item United States of America, in relation to particulars “Islamic Food and
Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA)”, by substituting for the logo of certification body in column (3) the following logos of certification body:
(i)
in relation to particulars “Australian Halal Authority and Advisers
Pty. Ltd. (AHAA)”, by substituting for the logo of certification body in column (3) the following logos of certification body:
(ii)
in relation to particulars “Perth Mosque Incorporated (PMI)”, by substituting for the logo of certification body in column (3) the following logo of certification body:
