Prohibition of sale to persons under 18

Section 17
(1)
No poison shall be sold or supplied to any person under eighteen years of age, otherwise than for purposes of the medical or dental treatment of such person.
(2)
Any person contravening this section shall be guilty of an offence against this Act.
(3)
It shall be a sufficient defence to any charge under this section that the person charged had reasonable cause to believe that the person to whom such sale was made was above the age of eighteen years.
