Section 35

Any person (not being a member of the Armed Forces of Malaysia or any Force established under any written law) not below the age of eighteen or over the age of fifty years, and is in possession of such qualifications as may be prescribed may volunteer and be accepted for appointment in the Volunteer Reserve.
