⎯(1)
Subject to this Part, a Port Authority may levy port dues as may be prescribed by regulations made under section 64 (1) in respect of⎯
(a)
passengers, cargo and other goods carried in the vessel entering or leaving its port; or

(b)
any cargo or goods transported through, into or out of its port from any place or vessel to any other place or vessel by any means or mode including the conveyance of petroleum or gas by pipelines, both onshore or offshore, on land or underground, in water or underwater.
(2)
All dues so received by the Port Authority under subsection (1) shall be accounted for the Government and form part of the State Consolidated Fund.
