Section 60

(1)

There shall be established a fund to be known as the Prison

Officers’ Reward Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) which shall be operated as a Trust Account within the Federal Consolidated

Fund.

(2)

The Fund shall consist of—

(a)

all emoluments forfeited by and all fines imposed on prison officers in any disciplinary proceedings;

(b)

all grants, donations, gifts and contributions made to or in favour of the Fund;

(c)

all other sums or property which may in any manner become payable to or vested in the Fund; and

(d)

all moneys—

(i)

confiscated; or

(ii)

the ownership of which is unknown and found, in the course of a search in a prison.
