Policy statement
of Private Aged Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 2018

Section 21
(1)
The licensee shall make available to a care recipient a policy statement of the private aged healthcare facilities and services upon the admission of such care recipient.
(2)
The policy statement of a licensed private aged healthcare facilities and services shall include the following matters:
(a)
the rights of the care recipient;
(b)
the duties of the licensee; and
(c)
a grievance mechanism plan and procedure.
(3)
The licensee shall display the policy statement at a conspicuous part of the private aged healthcare facilities and services.
