Section 36 of the principal Act is amended—

(a)
by renumbering the existing provision as subsection (1);
and
(b)
by inserting after subsection (1) as renumbered the following subsection:
“(2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1)
shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.”.
