- BAHAWASANYA Fasal (2) Perkara 55 Perlembagaan Persekutuan memperuntukkan bahawa BETA boleh memprorog Parlimen: DAN BAHAWASANYA wajar dan sesuai Penggal Ketiga Parlimen Malaysia Yang Ketiga Belas yang bermula pada sembilan hari bulan Mac, dua ribu lima belas, ditamatkan pada dua puluh sembilan hari bulan Februari, dua ribu enam belas: MAKA OLEH YANG DEMIKIAN, BETA, ALMU’TASIMU BILLAHI MUHIBBUDDIN TUANKU ALHAJ ABDUL HALIM MU’ADZAM SHAH IBNI ALMARHUM SULTAN BADLISHAH, dengan Kurnia Allah, Yang di-Pertuan Agong bagi Negeri-Negeri dan wilayah-wilayah Malaysia, pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan kepada BETA sebagaimana yang tersebut di atas MEMPROROG Parlimen yang tersebut mulai dari dua puluh sembilan hari bulan Februari, dua ribu enam belas. DIPERBUAT di Istana Negara BETA di Kuala Lumpur, Ibu Kota Persekutuan, pada sembilan hari bulan Disember, dua ribu lima belas. Dengan Titah Perintah Baginda DATO’ SRI MOHD. - WHEREAS Clause (2) of Article 55 of the Federal Constitution provides that WE may prorogue Parliament: AND WHEREAS it is desirable and convenient that the Third Session of the Thirteenth Parliament of Malaysia which commenced on the ninth day of March, two thousand fifteen, shall terminate on the twenty-ninth day of February, two thousand sixteen: NOW THEREFORE, WE, ALMU’TASIMU BILLAHI MUHIBBUDDIN TUANKU ALHAJ ABDUL HALIM MU’ADZAM SHAH IBNI ALMARHUM SULTAN BADLISHAH, by the Grace of Allah, Yang di-Pertuan Agong of the States and territories of Malaysia, in exercise of the powers conferred on US as aforesaid PROROGUE the said Parliament with effect from the twenty-ninth day of February, two thousand sixteen.
