Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa-kuasa yang diberi oleh seksyen 14 dan 16 Akta Pasaran Getah Persekutuan Tanah Melayu (Pemerbadanan) Akta 11/62. 1962, Perbadanan dalam Mesyuarat Agung membuat kaedah-kaedah yang berikut:
Seksyen 2
Kaedah-Kaedah Pasaran Getah Persekutuan Tanah Melayu 1961, yang disebut "Kaedah-Kaedah ibu" dalam Kaedah-Kaedah ini, adalah dipinda—
(a)
dengan memotong tafsiran "Class Meeting", "Clearing House", "Guarantee Broker" dan "Settlement House" dalam kaedah 2; dan
(b)
dengan memasukkan atau menggantikan di tempat yang sesuai dalam kaedah 2 tafsiran yang berikut bagi "Guarantee Contract", "Guarantee Trader" dan "Guarantee Trading Right":
"Guarantee Contract" means a contract in a form prescribed by these Rules, bye-laws or regulations, and made by a Guarantee Trader acting on behalf of his client, in terms of which, and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed, the Guarantee Trader guarantees the quality and weight of the rubber contracted for;';
"Guarantee Trader" means any trader who is authorised under these Rules or the bye-laws or regulations to enter into Guarantee Contracts;';
"Guarantee Trading Right" means the right granted by the Board to conduct business on a Guarantee Contract;'.
Seksyen 3
Kaedah-Kaedah ibu adalah dipinda dengan memasukkan perkataan-perkataan "; nor shall they be eligible to obtain any Guarantee Trading Right" selepas perkataan "broker" dalam kaedah 5 (4).
Seksyen 4
Kaedah-Kaedah ibu adalah dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan-perkataan "such application." dalam kaedah 8 (2) perkataan-perkataan yang berikut:
"Every other application shall be supported in writing by at least three Ordinary Members."
Seksyen 5
Kaedah-Kaedah ibu adalah dipinda dengan memotong perkataan-perkataan "in such Category as in all the circumstances of the case it shall deem appropriate" dalam kaedah 9. (2).
Seksyen 6
Kaedah-Kaedah ibu adalah dipinda—
(a)
dengan memotong perkataan-perkataan "and of an associated Clearing House or Settlement House or both" dalam kaedah 59 (b);
(b)
dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan-perkataan "any default" dalam kaedah 59 (c) perkataan-perkataan "in respect of quality and weight"; dan
Seksyen 7
Kaedah-Kaedah ibu adalah dipinda dengan memotong perkataan-perkataan " , Clearing House or Settlement House" dalam kaedah 94 (1) (b).
(c)
dengan menggantikan perkataan "Brokers" dalam kaedah 59 (c) dengan perkataan "Traders".

Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14 and 16 of the Federation of Malaya Rubber Exchange (Incorporation) Act 1962, the Corporation in General Meeting makes the following rules:
Seksyen 1
These Rules may be cited as the Federation of Malaya Rubber Exchange (Amendment) Rules 1985 and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st September 1983.
Seksyen 2
The Federation of Malaya Rubber Exchange Rules 1961, which in these Rules are referred to as "the principal Rules", are amended—
(a)
by deleting the interpretations of "Class Meeting", "Clearing House", "Guarantee Broker" and "Settlement House" in rule 2; and
(b)
by inserting or substituting appropriately in rule 2 the following interpretations of "Guarantee Contract", "Guarantee Trader" and "Guarantee Trading Right":
"Guarantee Contract" means a contract in a form prescribed by these Rules, bye-laws or regulations, and made by a Guarantee Trader acting on behalf of his client, in terms of which, and subject to such conditions as may be prescribed, the Guarantee Trader guarantees the quality and weight of the rubber contracted for;';
"Guarantee Trader" means any trader who is authorised under these Rules or the by-laws or regulations to enter into Guarantee Contracts;';
"Guarantee Trading Right" means the right granted by the Board to conduct business on a Guarantee Contract;'.
Seksyen 3
The principal Rules are amended by inserting the words "; nor shall they be eligible to obtain any Guarantee Trading Right" after the word "broker" in rule 5 (4). Amendment of rule 5.
Seksyen 4
The principal Rules are amended by inserting after the words Amendment of rule 8. "such application." in rule 8 (2) the following words:
"Every other application shall be supported in writing by at least three Ordinary Members.".
Seksyen 5
The principal Rules are amended by deleting the words "in Amendment of such Category as in all the circumstances of the case it shall deem appropriate" in rule 9 (2).
Seksyen 6
The principal Rules are amended—
(a)
by deleting the words "and of an associated Clearing House or Settlement House or both" in rule 59 (b);
Amendment of rule 59.
(b)
by inserting after the words "any default" in rule 59 (c) the words "in respect of quality and weight"; and
Seksyen 7
The principal Rules are amended by deleting the words " , Clearing House or Settlement House" in rule 94 (1) (b). Amendment of rule 94.
