Preamble

PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 41 Akta Optik 1991, Menteri, selepas berunding dengan Majlis, membuat perintah yang berikut:

Seksyen 1

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Optik (Pindaan Jadual Pertama) 1997.

Seksyen 2

Jadual Pertama kepada Akta Optik 1991 adalah dipinda bagi negeri United Kingdom—

(a)

dalam butiran kedua ruang kedua dengan memotong perkathan "the" selepas perkataan "of"; dan

(b)

dalam butiran kedua ruang ketiga dengan memasukkan perkataan "Association of" selepas perkataan "the".

Opening note

Preamble

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 41 of the Optical Act 1991, the Minister, after consulting the Council, makes the following order: Citation.

Seksyen 1

This order may be cited as the Optical (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 1997.

Seksyen 2

The First Schedule to the Optical Act 1991 is amended for the country of United Kingdom—

(a)

in the second item of the second column by deleting the word "the" after the word "of"; and

(b)

in the second item of the third column by inserting the word "Association of" after the word "the".
