  1. In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Judges' Remuneration Act 1971, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, after consultation with the Chief Justice, makes the following regulations:

These regulations may be cited as the Judges' Remuneration (Amendment of Second Schedule) Regulations 1998 and shall be deemed to have come into force on 1 March 1998.

The Judges' Remuneration Act 1971 is amended in the Second Schedule by substituting for paragraph 2 the following paragraph: Amendment of Second Schedule.
