PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 69(1) Akta Pengangkutan Jalan 1987 [Akta 333], Menteri membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Had Laju Kebangsaan

(Pemberhentian Sementara) 2022.

Perintah ini berkuat kuasa mulai 25 Januari 2022 hingga 8 Februari 2022.

Subperenggan 2(1) Perintah Had Laju Kebangsaan 1989 [P.U. (A) 18/1989]

yang memperuntukkan had laju sembilan puluh (90) kilometer sejam bagi semua jalan di Malaysia, selain jalan yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual dalam Perintah Had Laju

Kebangsaan 1989, hendaklah terhenti berkuat kuasa bagi tempoh mulai 25 Januari 2022

hingga 8 Februari 2022.

Apabila habis tempoh Perintah ini, subperenggan 2(1) Perintah Had Laju

Kebangsaan 1989 hendaklah berkuat kuasa seolah-olah Perintah ini tidak dibuat.

NATIONAL SPEED LIMIT (TEMPORARY CESSATION) ORDER 2022

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 69(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 [Act 333], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the

National

Speed

Limit

(Temporary Cessation) Order 2022.

(2)

This Order has effect from 25 January 2022 to 8 February 2022.

Temporary cessation 2.

(1)

Subparagraph 2(1) of the National Speed Limit Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 18/1989]

which provides the speed limit of ninety (90) kilometres per hour for all roads in Malaysia, other than the roads described in the Schedule to the National Speed Limit Order 1989, shall cease to have effect for the period from 25 January 2022 to 8 February 2022.

Upon the expiry of this Order, subparagraph 2(1) of the National Speed Limit

Order 1989 shall have effect as if this Order has not been made.
