PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh perenggan 90A(1)(a) dibaca bersama dengan perenggan 90B(b) Akta Eksais 1976 [Akta 176], Menteri membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Duti Eksais (Labuan) 2022.

Perintah ini mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 Jun 2022.

Seksyen 2

Duti eksais hendaklah dilevi ke atas dan dibayar oleh pengimport berkenaan dengan barang-barang yang berikut yang diimport ke dalam Labuan atau diangkut ke Labuan dari kawasan utama kastam pada kadar yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (5) Jadual kepada Perintah Duti Eksais yang sedang berkuat kuasa:

(a)

rokok;

(b)

produk tembakau;

(c)

rokok elektronik dan peranti pengewapan elektrik peribadi yang serupa;

(d)

paip tembakau (termasuk kepala paip); dan

(e)

sediaan yang digunakan untuk merokok melalui rokok elektronik dan peranti pengewapan elektrik, dalam bentuk cecair atau gel, yang tidak mengandungi nikotin.

EXCISE DUTIES (LABUAN) ORDER 2022

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 90A(1)(a) read together with paragraph 90B(b) of the Excise Act 1976 [Act 176], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Excise Duties (Labuan) Order 2022.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 1 June 2022.

Excise duties 2.

Excise duties shall be levied on and paid by the importer in respect of the following goods imported into Labuan or transported to Labuan from the principal customs area at the rates specified in column (5) of the Schedule to the prevailing Excise Duties Order:

(a)

cigarettes;

(b)

tobacco products;

(c)

electronic cigarettes and similar personal electric vaporising devices;

(d)

smoking pipes (including pipe bowls); and

(e)

preparation of a kind used for smoking through electronic cigarettes and electric vaporising device, in form of liquid or gel, not containing nicotine.

Revocation 3.

The Excise Duties (Labuan) Order 2020 [P.U. (A) 411/2020] is revoked.
