PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 54 Akta Industri Biobahan Api Malaysia 2007 [Akta 666], Menteri, selepas berunding dengan pihak berkuasa pelesenan, membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Seksyen 1

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Industri Biobahan Api

Malaysia (Pindaan Jadual Pertama) 2022.

(2)

Perintah ini mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 November 2022.

Pindaan Jadual Pertama

Seksyen 2

Akta Industri Biobahan Api Malaysia 2007 dipinda dalam Jadual Pertama—

(a)

dengan menggantikan perenggan 1 dengan perenggan yang berikut:

“1.

Metil ester yang berasal atau diekstrak daripada keluaran kelapa sawit yang berikut:

(a)

minyak sawit mentah;

(b)

minyak sawit yang ditapis, dinyahwarna dan dinyahbau;

(c)

asid lemak sawit disuling;

(d)

minyak sawit keladak;

(e)

minyak sawit masak yang telah digunakan; atau

(f)

minyak efluen kilang kelapa sawit.”; dan

(b)

dengan menggantikan perenggan 2 dengan perenggan yang berikut:

“2.

Hidrokarbon berasaskan minyak sayuran yang berasal atau diekstrak daripada keluaran kelapa sawit yang berikut:

(a)

minyak sawit mentah;

(b)

minyak sawit yang ditapis, dinyahwarna dan dinyahbau;

(c)

asid lemak sawit disuling;

(d)

minyak sawit keladak;

(e)

minyak sawit masak yang telah digunakan;

(f)

minyak efluen kilang kelapa sawit; atau

(g)

minyak tandan kosong sawit.”.

MALAYSIAN BIOFUEL INDUSTRY

(AMENDMENT OF FIRST SCHEDULE) ORDER 2022

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 54 of the Malaysian Biofuel Industry Act 2007 [Act 666], the Minister, after consultation with the licensing authority, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Malaysian Biofuel Industry

(Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2022.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 1 November 2022.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Malaysian Biofuel Industry Act 2007 is amended in the First Schedule—

(a)

by substituting for paragraph 1 the following paragraph:

“1.

Methyl ester originating or extracted from the following oil palm product:

(a)

crude palm oil;

(b)

refined, bleached and deodorized palm oil;

(c)

palm fatty acid distillate;

(d)

sludge palm oil;

(e)

used palm cooking oil; or

(f)

palm oil mill effluent oil.”; and

(b)

by substituting for paragraph 2 the following paragraph:

“2.

Vegetable oil based hydrocarbon originating or extracted from the following oil palm product:

(a)

crude palm oil;

(b)

refined, bleached and deodorized palm oil;

(c)

palm fatty acid distillate;

(d)

sludge palm oil;

(e)

used palm cooking oil;

(f)

palm oil mill effluent oil; or

(g)

empty fruit bunch oil.”.
